Many couples choose abortion because they say the child was “an accident”. Others choose the same over fears of financial stress, lack of support, career hiatus, loss of freedom, or potential health risks to the child. In response, Jesus reminds us that He is with us always, “to the end of the age”. Each child is conceived under His providential care. Each parent is strengthened by His love. He is not promising that these difficulties will cease completely, but that, whatever we endure, He will be there to sustain us with His grace.
