3rd Sunday of Easter (May 1, 2022)
Acts 5.28-32, 40b-41; Rev 5.11-14; Jn 21.1-19
When questioned by the high priest as to why the apostles had not heeded their warnings to stop preaching in the name of Jesus, Peter responded, “We must obey God rather than men.”

As followers of Christ, each of us has a duty to protect the innocent and the vulnerable.
Like Peter and the apostles, let us rejoice to be “found worthy to suffer dishonor for the sake of the Name.”
