Today we hear that God knew us even before we knew Him; He has a relationship with us even though we may be unaware of it. St. John Paul II reminds us that “We are not the sum of our weaknesses and failures; we are the sum of the Father’s love for us and our real capacity to become the image of His Son.”

St. Paul’s message offers hope to these women: “And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” Every one of their needs will be satisfied: peace, health, finances. Certainly, God will not abandon His children, especially those who strive to do what is right.
